Salisbury Horse Racing Results – 9 June 2015

A packed schedule of eight races was laid on for race-goers at Salisbury Racecourse on Tuesday, giving us a number of UK horse racing results and payouts to round up. From a conditional standpoint, the going was good to firm and the weather cloudy.

Pat Dobbs rode 6/4 favourite Racquet to victory in the 13:55 Maiden Auction Stakes. Another favourite won when the 10/11 Galileo Gold clinched the 14:25 Maiden Auction Stakes.

Frankie Dettori followed up his Investec Derby win with a victory on 8/1 Sirheed in the 14:55 Maiden Stakes. Pixeleen then managed to win at long odds of 25/1 in the 15:25 Handicap, after which the 6/1 Maybelater claimed the 15:55 Fillies Handicap.

Next up, Felix Fabulla won the 16:25 Handicap as 13/8 favourite. Perfect Bounty followed that with a win as 7/2 favourite in the 16:55 Handicap. Cincuenta Pasos delivered the final win as 5/1 victor in the 17:25 Apprentice Handicap.

Nottingham Horse Racing Tips – 11 June 2015

Sun is shining throughout the UK, which means the going will be good to firm at Nottingham Racecourse for the seven races scheduled for Thursday afternoon. The level of competition is relatively strong, so it’s worthwhile checking out the current free horse racing naps from Sky Sports.

Let’s jump straight to the 15:40 Doom Bar Summer Handicap and its £11,500 prize fund. A modest field of seven runners has declared for the race, which is open to horses aged four years or older.

None of the horses have been in especially strong form, but Yeeoow did manage to win its last race. On that basis, the six-year-old has been made 11/4 favourite.

Shingle is currently the second favourite at 10/3 on the back of a first and a second from its last three finishes. Guisham is also worth a look at 10/1 after winning twice in six.

Newbury Speed Ratings – 11 June 2015

Recent figures have revealed that Newbury Racecourse’s attendance has increased by 6% in 2015. Yet more visitors are expected to attend on Thursday, when seven races will be hosted in the summer sunshine.

From the schedule, everybody is looking at the £50,000 15:25 Lord Weinstock Memorial EBF Stallions Stakes. And for analysing the 13 runners, the Racing Post has unveiled its latest daily speed figures.

Supreme Occasion holds a slender lead with its 87-rating over the other three-year-old fillies. Encore L’Amour, Hot Sauce, and Maleficent Queen have all been rated at 86.

Encore L’Amour is the current favourite at 4/1, with a win and a second-placed finish from its last five. Meanwhile, Maleficent Queen at 16/1 has two wins and a second from just three races.

In contrast, Supreme Occasion has not won in five races following two successive victories. The Sam James-ridden filly is currently priced at 10/1.
